Signed. It's scandalous how fuel, and road transport in general, is always the cash cow for the government, whichever party is in power

Lets set up a political party ! my manifesto would be petrol immediate reduction to £1 a litre, then a reduction each quarter of 5p litre down to 80p.

as I smoke, fags would go down to £2 a pack but booze would pick up the tax that was lost from petrol and fags i.e. a pint would be £6 a glass.

that would stop the louts and binge drinkers as you dont see people smoking fags causing trouble and fighting etc ey !

Do I get your vote ?

Filling station on North Wales Expressway was selling Unleaded at £1.32.9 a litre the other day. They told me there is no reason why everyone could not drop down to this price. There is greed in the dealers as well as the suppliers it seems.

£1.30.9 at a station in Nottingham last night.

Why are we letting this happen ! looking back to 2000 or when ever it was when we had the blockades and protests, we were being ripped off for 80p a litre then.

The actions worked if we all remember, petrol did go down a bit but has crept up continuously since, what have we done, nothing just let it happen.

What I would do today to be ripped off for paying 80p a litre again.

Either slash or remove the tax on the fuel or remove the vat on the fuel ...... Remember we are being taxed on top of tax every time we fill up !
